A colloquium focused on

unconscious fetishization for design.

The panel consisted of four academics (architects and artists) from Los Angeles, New Haven and Chicago. A key element of this panel and symposium was to position the participants in a duel environment aimed at fostering conversations of the space in-between their respective tendencies of representation. The range from the usage of text as graphic, animation as a representation and generative tool, and film and graphic design as a stripping of embedded and implied meaning are only a few of the topics that were pursued using the participants work as jumping points.

The colloquium took place on April 18th, 2016 at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
